Mobicon takes an innovative approach in selecting their National BDM by choosing industry experience over sales experience, with Matt Agius. As Distribution Centre Manager, Matt experienced the benefits of a Mobicon firsthand, putting him in an ideal position to help customers discover the boost in productivity that a Mobicon can bring to a company.
Matt brings with him 24 years of warehouse, operational and transport experience, and has seen it all when it comes to container handling solutions. He introduced the Mobicon into a large winemaking company in 2018 after struggling with other equipment. Matt was so impressed with it that he requested to join the team at Mobicon, despite being poached by others at the time.
The choice to favour industry experience over sales tactics will mean Mobicon customers are dealing with someone who has an exceptional understanding of logistics and warehouse distribution. Matt will work closely with businesses to understand their operation and show how the Mobicon mini straddle carrier can support transport operations and improve productivity while keeping staff and their yard safe.
